Thanks for the report. What's kind of machine is this? what audio
device is this?

For some reason the device stops right after it starts. Could you
restart this command with the SNDIO_DEBUG=4 environment variable set
and send me the output?  This will generate a lot of traces.

Could you also try to add the "-m play" option to sndiod and see if
the problem persists.
